Story Behind The Song

this song was born from intense anger at a situation beyond my control...and yet nothing like the situation described in the song. my anger gave birth to the character's anger...we both wanted to go out and kill someone, but entirely different someones and for very different reasons.

Song Description

this song poured spontaneously from me, and after it was done, i had to sit down and figure out what it was about. basically, it's about a woman out for revenge...she takes no pleasure from it, she expects no absolution for her act just because it is a necessary one, she doesn't want to be remembered as a hero or a murderess...she knows that she is as lost as the person she's out to kill. in ending his life, she'll be ending her own, hence the title, "two less." she knows this and excepts it. she's resigned.
