Somethin' To Say:

1st Verse: Smoke and mirrors, whiskey and cream.
And somethin' keeps remindin' me,
don't forget about your dreams!

Midnight parties, where I'm the only guest.
And a body can't get no sleep,
when a mind refuses to rest.

I've got a hundred guitars,
but I ain't got time to play!
I've exceeded my excess,
but I've still got somethin' to say,
I've still got somethin' to say!

2nd Verse: I didn't make the show one night,
man I, couldn't face the crowd.
I couldn't take the heat of the lights,
and the guitars was too damn loud.

Well I got people tearin' at my clothes,
everybody want a piece of my art.
I had to copyright my soul,
so the greedy wouldn't steal my heart.

And now another sound check,
We'll get a check for another sound.
But don't get me wrong, it ain't about the pay
We still got somethin' to say,
we still have somethin' to say!

Chorus: And don't forget I sing for you!
And I won't quit until your through.
Like a bell, my words is ringin' true,
'Cause that's what I was born to do,
Yeah! That's what I was born to do.

Instrumental:

3rd Verse: And now we step on the tour bus,
and , take that lonesome ride.
Another crowd is waitin' for us,
and we got knothin' to hide.

I feel the road beneath my bed
as we glide on through the night.
I still hear what the last crowd said.
Yeah, I guess we got it right.

So stand in line and buy your fare
We'll see you in a day.
You best believe we sure as hell care
That you still got somethin' to say,
yeah, you still got somethin' to say.

Chorus out: And don't forget I sing for you!
And I won't quit until your through.
Like a bell, my words is ringin' true,
Cause that's what I was born to do,
Yeah! That's what I was born to do.

outro: We still got somethin' to say,
we still got somethin' to say,
we still got somethin' to say,
we still got somethin' to say!
And we're gonna say it!
