Story Behind The Song
I Had been reading quite a bit of Paulo Coelho, and his works talk quite a bit regarding the fine line between reality and dreams...the song just sort of spilled out, but it was I'm sure influenced by Paulos writings. That's Eric Marienthal on sax by the way.

Lyrics
60 SECONDS
Once I dreamed of a circus
In the south of France
Acrobats and magicians
And a horse that?s learned to dance
A sad girl with sunken eyes
Asked me to share her meal (sit awhile)
Marie and I sat together silently until the morning was revealed (till I was lost inside her smile)
From then on we were together
Marie always by my side
I was there to watch her live
I was there the night she died
Heartbroken and forsaken I stumbled through the night
Crying why have you abandoned me why did she have to die
I looked deep into the stars and asked what must all this mean
When the answer came, it came quietly and I found myself at peace? it said
60 seconds is a minute and it passes very fast
60 minutes is a hour that we never will get back
Time races quickly past until no time is left
So love the ones that love you too and always to do your best
Do your best
You must not forget time is always moving on
And you can never steal one minute more when your time is gone
And then suddenly I woke up
And I was not in France
There were no acrobats or Magicians
There was no horse that learned to dance
My Marie had never died or ever even lived
But every day I will remember the words by which I try to live
