Story Behind The Song
I wrote the song at a crossroads for myself as I was experiencing physical problems without help from the doctors and at this stage I took a look back at my relationships. In the first verse the lyric "First we stand together, then we're standing apart, etc., was actually about a different relationship through each part of the lyric.

A song of regret over a broken relationship in which the singer admits responsibility as well as laying blame and in the end seeks the help of a higher power to avoid the cycle of failure.
