Story Behind The Song

I was just sitting around my studio thinking about how tired I was listening to all these hip hop artist complaining and taking about depressing issues in their music and said to myself that I'm going to make a song the exact opposite of that. Hence, "Slow Beach Life" was born. Just a vocal sample of myself saying 'yes, yes' was the only voice I recorded for this track. That's all I felt was needed as far as vocals go.

Song Description

This song is cool-out sunny day at the beach song. No drama or depressing thoughts, just a good feeling of thankfulness to be alive set to a phat beat. A very simple beat that includes only three drum sounds is used to keep the vibe of the song real open. Then, a snippet of a ragtime piano sample is added to make it more interesting.
