Story Behind The Song

I recorded this song when two of my friends had their birthdays in the same month, and this song made me think of them and some of my prayers for them. I had written it years before, kind of as a message to myself, but I totally revamped the verses (because the originals kind of...didn't not fail). At the time, I didn't really have any instruments I could access. So I did the best to make art with what I had. Live and learn. So this song also has a phone in it. A real phone. I was getting a phone call at the same time, and it timed itself perfectly, so I decided to keep it in. Betcha never heard a song with a phone ringing accidentally in the background exactly to the beat of the song!
