Story Behind The Song

A man pursues a woman. He is obsessed with her. He tries to communicate with her, impress her, get her to like him. But, she is not allowing him into her life. He gets desperate. Starts thinking that he needs to do something great to impress her. He starts basing his whole life on being successful in order to win her. He puts tremendous pressure on himself not to fail. He starts to realize that he is failing with her, but he continues his obsession with her. At this point, he basically feels like a loser because now she is nowhere in sight. He is now totally depressed and withdrawn because he cannot figure out why she did not believe in him. He is now sitting alone in the dark. Just when he is feeling sorry for himself, he sees a beautiful woman with long hair off in the distance walking towards him holding a candle. She reaches out for him. She has come back for him. He wants to question her as to why she left. But before letting her answer, he realizes that it?s time to move on. He emphatically tells her that he will not let her go again.
