Sunshine

Story Behind The Song

I was angry after realizing that I had to end whatever the hell I had to end...this "relationship". So I wrote this cynical song about it.

Song Length 3:23 Genre Rock - Indie/Low-Fi, Rock - Modern

Lyrics

SUNSHINE

The sky rains drops of poison.
Diseases flood the streets.
We swim into each other
When we're feeling lonely.

This town has no horizon
And no one seems to care.
We all sleep with each other
In puddles of our tears.

CHORUS

SUNSHINE. SUNSHINE.
BURN THIS TOWN.
PLEASE RESTORE MY PURITY
AND SHOW ME THE WAY OUT.

SUNSHINE. SUNSHINE.
I DON'T DESERVE THIS.
I KNOW THERE'S A PLACE
WHERE TRUE LOVE EXISTS.

So find yourself a lover.
Someone to call your own.
To find some form of happiness
Until the next rainstorm.
Then raindrops turn to alcohol
As midnight casts a spell.
The season starts to change.
My heart sinks down to hell.

REPEAT CHORUS X 2
