This song grew out of observing the situation of a friend who had difficulties choosing between women. I imagined myself in these womens' position and wrote from that perspective.

Having been cheated upon by her boyfriend, a woman debates staying in the relationship, not wanting to leave, but expressing under what conditions she could stay.
