Story Behind The Song
After seeing the movie "The Pasion of Christ" I listened to so many people talking about how sad that was. And how could anyone do that to Jesus. Then in the next breath or action they made it was contrary to God's comands. And I thought of how we crucify Him in the same way when we are disobedient.
But of course I couldn't leave Jesus hanging on the cross because we have sinned. So that is where the ending came in "He's Alive, He's Alive." To declare that no matter what we do or don't do, it can't change the fact that He has concured death and He's alive.
Song Description
People think it is so sad the way that Jesus was crucified. However, they don't realize that each time we sin or disobay Him we are driving in the dales that held Him to the cross. And even though that sounds like a hard statment... the cool thing is that, He still loves us! And all we have to do is ask for His forgivness and we are forgiven and right back on track with Him! After all, that is why He had to die!
