Song Description

This solo piano piece includes many voices drawn from Middle Eastern, Western classical music. I envision this piece to accompany a film that is about inner and outer struggle and conflict that may or may not resolve. It is a piece that is about finding the refuge from that conflict so that a door to inner and outer peace can be found.

Story Behind the Song

This piano piece practically wrote itself about 10 years ago and originally included didgeridoo as a bass line. Since then, I've decided to record it as a solo piano piece. There is a deep feeling of peace when I play this. It's been a joy to play it and I am happy to share as a gift.
