Story Behind The Song
I wrote the bass line first, and it reminded me of the Fall, at least the intro. So, then I just slapped the same basic riff as the chorus which seemed to create some tension. Then, I wrote the lyrics to the chorus and had a vague idea of the concepts I wanted to address in the verses. The verse was finally written, after a few days when we recorded the initial version of the song, and it seems to have cemented into something similiar to what is presented here.
The inspiration for the Northwestern concept was just a way for me to vent about the cruel change in weather and mood of the Pacific Northwest this time of year. The fall, of 2004.
Song Description
This song is about trying to cope in the Pacific Northwest. With the dreary weather and the pure frustration of the bizarre instutional and social conditions which are purely northwestern.

Lyrics
Chorus:
there's a draft outside
there's a draft in here
there's a draft the whole wide world round
draft beer
drink it down
pass it round
this round's on me
Next round's on you
Round round round round.....
