Story Behind The Song
Too Late is a song that deals with the turmoil, stress and pressures of individual thought and independence in today?s world especially (ironically) in a free speech American society.
Song Description
Written in 2005. The song was recorded at RoseHip Studios and is one of the (lately) very rare examples of Lance?s multi-instrumental abilities. He composed, produced this song and performed all the instruments (excluding the drums by Joey Williams) himself, however the song was re-mixed by Mark Rubel at Pogo Studios. Too Late is a song that deals with the turmoil, stress and pressures of individual thought and independence in today?s world especially (ironically) in a free speech American society.

Lyrics
TOO LATE
I?m a little different but it?s okay
I?ve been under pressure but it?s okay
It seems to me that?s the way things have to be
With a lack of gratitude and a lack of variety
They call me silly but I know better
I?m a little radical but I know better
I?m not addicted to what appears up in front of me
I suffer from a deficiency in conformity
Is anybody out there?
Is anybody out there?
Is anybody out there?
Is anybody out there?
And I?m not gonna say I?m sorry for who I am
And don?t want a truce it?s too late
I can hear you talking but I just don?t care
You silly rabbit I just don?t care
We?re in America so you?re free to say what you want
But I don?t have to be there to listen when you want to talk
You stare and heckle but it?s all good
You?re a little jealous I know but it?s all good
If you just take a minute then maybe you could see
You live vicariously through my misery
Is anybody out there?
Is anybody out there?
Is anybody out there?
Is anybody out there?
And I?m not gonna say I?m sorry for who I am
And don?t want a truce it?s too late
I?m a little different but it?s okay
I?ve been under pressure but it?s okay
I?m a little different but it?s okay
I?ve been under pressure but it?s O?..(and)
I?m not gonna say I?m sorry for who I am
And don?t want a truce it?s too late
