I have been with a woman I met in Jacksonville FL, six years invested into the relationship. I tried my best to do everything right. Faithful, open, true. In the end, I discovered that I was the only one thinking like that. The breakup nearly destroyed my, nearly had me homeless, nearly caused me to lose faith in human nature. Writing this song was the outlet I needed most at the time. This song brought me, closure.
