Story Behind The Song
We have moved so many times and have had so many of our Christian brethren move away. I usually sing this song at the farewell dinner or service.
Song Description
"We are going to miss you, brethren". The first line says it all, but the song goes on to encourage the Body of Christ to be faithful to Jesus and keep clean from sin. The final verse celebrates our final reunion at the marriage supper of the Lamb.

Lyrics
The Farewell Song
We are gonna miss you, brethren
When you're gone, when we're gone away.
The sweetness of your spirit,
The warmth of God's sun ray.
You've loved us, Oh you've loved us
With the love of Jesus Christ
We never will forget the way
Your friendship blessed our lives
Jesus lives in you
He lives in you.
Hallelujah.
A word before we leave you
I guess there's just one thing to say:
Brethren, keep on seeking Jesus
And follow in His holy way.
Keep your eyes on the Savior
And your feet out of Satan's sin
Tell your friends the testimony
Of how Jesus lets you in
Into His glory, Oh glory,
Hallelujah.
We'll see you at the wedding
The marriage feast of the Lamb
When we'll all be with Jesus
Sitting at the Father's hand
In the glorious land of Zion
Where Jesus reigns as King
We'll live in peace and harmony
And "Praise You, Jesus" sing
With all of you brethren
Oh praise You, Jesus
Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
