Story Behind The Song
I was reading an article by Philip Yancy (a Christian writer). He was talking about GK Chesterton (a famous writer/philospher) and neat stuff he said about God. Like God says "Do it Again" to the flower or something. Reading this article and the ideas in it sparked the idea for this song.
Song Description
Kids can never get enough of their parents. When they are having fun, they keep saying "Do it again", but parents get tired too fast. There is a spiritual lesson in this song about God. He never gets tired doing stuff for us.

Lyrics
Susie and Mommy went to the park to take a little swing.
Mommy pushed Susie for a half hour, then started questioning:
"Darlin' woncha climb on the bars? My arms feel almost dead!"
Sue leaned back with twinkling eyes and this is what she said,
Chorus: Do it again, mama please
Do it again, don't get tired
Do it again, Do it again (repeat)
Daddy and Danny rolled on the floor and started wrestling
They tickled and tumbled for a half hour. Hear Dan's delighted screams.
Dad said, "Son, I've had enough. I think I'll hit the couch."
Dan stuck out his lower lip and he began to pout,
Do it again, Daddy please
Do it again, don't get tired
Do it again. Do it again. (repeat)
Bridge:
Can't you see, I'm grownup, and I've worked hard all day?
Can't you see, I'm a child, and all I wanna do is play......?
God looks down and has a good laugh at all these kids He made.
I just don't think that they understand what I go through each day.
Why, if I decided to take a day off, they'd be in a fix.
So even though it's monotonous, I'll keep up my old tricks:
Do it again - to the sun
Do it again - to the moon
Do it again - to the stars
Do it again - to the seas
Do it again - to the earth
Do it again - to the clouds
Do it again - to the rain
Do it again - to the seeds
Do it again, Father please
Do it again - my heartbeat
Do it again. Do it again (repeat)
