Song Description

It's only wrong for an hour or two...

Broadjam Member Reviews

good old fashioned blues riff, nice piano, instrumentation is there for sure, the lead vocal needs a bit more polish, but that may be this mix, the vocal is a bit eq'd too high in the high range? but nice vibe and well generally well done. keep pounding that piano. also like the title/hook "smack dab in love with you, cool title...

Nice piano playing on this, good effort.

Lyrics

SMACK DAB
(Words and Music by Michael W. Avery/ Dan Anderson/Don Hamrick)

Smack dab, smack dab in love with you
Smack dab, smack dab in love with you
It's only wrong, it's only wrong,
It's only wrong for an hour or two

Darling, make my heart sing
Darling, make my heart sing
Smack dab in love, it's a beautiful thing

You was on the outside and I was looking in
You know I love you baby like a Devil loves his sin
Smack dab, smack dab in love with you
It's only wrong, it's only wrong,
It's only wrong for an hour or two

Forever is forever
Forever is forever and you know that's what they say
It's only love
It's only wrong
It's only wrong just everyday
Smack dab, smack dab in love with you
It's only wrong, it's only wrong,
It's only wrong for an hour or two
