Story Behind the Song

I use to play in a band that toured as my job but sadly finished up , so i wrote this song from that experience

Reminds of The Allman Brothers, good driving song, well paced and didn't drag. The parts evolved enough that the song stayed interesting. Felt like just the right length; and ended when it should. The kind of song, you turn up as the louder the better. Instruments all tracked and mixed well.

    - The Noted

Great energy, very interesting start with the beat. Most impressed with the bridge the way it breaks away and then builds back into the high energy of the song. Great theme this would make a fantastic cruising song. The use of the guitar lick is good and repeated enough that it catches you attention especially coming out of the bridge, great song!

1st verse

Were headin up the highway again
Back to the life that we want to lead
We'll do what we do best
No 9 to 5 no continuous
everyday life oh no no

We'll see new faces and different places
and neon signs on buildings touchin the sky
Dont you see what this means to me
I'm not gonna sit here watchin my life go by
Yeah were back on the road

Back on the road
Back on the road's were we belong
Passin thru these towns watchin old men talk
and theres no sound
dont you see what i mean
the bright lights is where i wanna be

maybe someday
life will go my way
and i'll be just where i wanna be
I'm gonna get a band
and travel cross this land
just wanna play
dont wanna stay
dont wanna stay

[finish with]

back on the road
back on the road's
where we belong
back on the road
