Story Behind The Song
One year ago, I was diagnosed with a terminal, rare, aggressive form of breast cancer. As I prepared to battle this disease starting with intense rounds of chemo, I wrote a number of songs including this one to serve as a reminder that there is always hope especially when you have the love and support of those around you.
Song Description
There is always hope especially when we, people of the world, stand together as one.

Lyrics
Just when you think you're all alone
Raise your eyes and see
Together we stand as one
One world, one family
Like separate fingers, part of one hand
Like waves on the sea
It's time we finally realized
We're one world, one family
(Chorus)
Come take my hand, hope is on the horizon
Take my hand, hope is the air we breathe
Take my hand, come together now
Hope is in you and me
When all is lost
No hope in sight
Together we still stand strong
Together we'll be alright (Chorus)(Chorus)
Just when you think you're all alone
Raise your eyes and see
Together we stand as one
One world, one family
