Colt

Story Behind The Song

An attempt at using delay to create interlocking rhythmic melodies which became the first song on my album, "About a Clydesdale".

Song Description

Youth is represented allegorically by the colt. The percussive harmonics of the guitar are representative of the clip-clop of small hooves, analogous to the pitter-patter of tiny feet. The main melodies are representative of exploring the new, surrounding space.
