Song DescriptionA very moving song reminding a friend that they have friends and not to let go but to reach out for help.
Story Behind the SongI didn't have any particular person in mind while writing this tune, but oddly enough a few years later and very good friend of mine took his life. I then wrote another tune called _ this train _ in his memory.

Lyrics
I heard you been reading up on how to feel good when you're down
been facing demons and they been teasin you the whole year round
and I heard you been thinkin bout throwing it all away.
About giving up, tell you what, that aint gonna happen
if I got anything to say about it.
don't let go
don't think you're alone
cause I know its hard to hold on when you're weak
but I can help you pull some of the weight
or maybe we'll just silently pray
maybe then something will change
maybe then you're ok
it's so hard to fight
come in my arms
i'm holding on tight
i won't let you go
so let it all out
let it all out
I heard you've been picking up pieces to a puzzle that fell apart
you had it all together and from what I gather you don't know where to start
and I heard in your sadness that you're pushing love away
you think no one cares about you. Thats simply not true
and that won't be a reason if I got anything to say about it
don't let go
don't think you're alone
cause I know its hard to hold on when you're weak
but I can help you pull some of the weight
or maybe we'll just silently pray
maybe then something will change
maybe then you're ok
