Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song about having to leave my home state to pursue music at first I meant I really wasn't going to miss it. I felt like I was practically being forced out of a job with all the live music venues closing. But by the end of the song I pictured my mom crying when she heard the song(she did)and I thought about my family and friends and knew I was gonna miss it.

Lyrics
I Won't Miss You MN
So long good Riddance and goodbye
I can feel the distance growing between you and I
Maybe 1000 miles is enough to set me free
All the things I loved about this place you took away from me
No more playing my heart out seven days a week
The weekend is all that's left I won't turn the other cheek
I won't miss you Minnesota what am I supposed to do
When you took away all the reasons I fell in love with you
well I guess it's time to go
Baby on with the show
From the only place I've ever called my home
Don't you remember when we started out
Making our dreams come true was all we talked about
Now I don't see love left in your eyes
All That's left for me is leaving and goodbyes
What ever happened to all those places we used to play
Like all those songs we sang they all just fade away
I won't miss you Minnesota what am I supposed to do
When you took away all the reasons I fell in love with you
Well its time to hit the road but it's hard to let go
Of the only place I've ever called my home
I won't miss you Minnesota and even when I do
There's only a days drive in this old truck between me and you
Hell no I won't miss the snow
But it's hard to let go
Of the only place I've ever called my home
My home
My home
My home
My home
I'm coming home
