there are four seasons and many changes that people experience in the world, but we are branches to the VINE, which is Christ, and with God all things are possible!

Story Behind the Song

I was dealing with a debilitation phobia called aggrephobia; could not go outside. God and faith in God got me through the worst time of my life as a mother, and a person. the 15th Chapter of John helped build my faith to have courage to go outside.

Lyrics

I AM THE VINE
Composed by: Louise Marie Merritts James
March 1993
Verse
Have you ever noticed when the winter time comes in the trees lose their leaves?
As the spring eases the gloom the tress begin to bloom and the fragrance is released?
As the branch cannot bear fruit except it is connected to root and the root has not withered away;
So is the same applied to man when into the Master's plan
No more can you except you abide in me. Jesus said,
Chorus
I am the vine; you are the branches x2
If I abide in you; you abide in me
There is nothing we can't do.
Verse
I'm the true vine for your soul. I will turn your winter days into spring time from the cold.
As the warmth from the Son's ray lights your heart and you give praise
You glow 'cause you're in the fold. If you want to be my disciples
You must keep my commandment that your joy may be full.
Please stay in my will. Love one another as I love you that my joy remain, may remain in you.
Chorus

Bridge
You can ask what you will.
I will be there for you.
I will see you through.
There is nothing we can't do.
