Lyrics
I?m looking for a decent guide both innocent and wise
But all the scouts that have applied look for a different prize
So on my own I leave my farm and start my fateful trip
I hopefully can keep from harm my youthful fragile ship
Big and rocky steep and scary mountain lies ahead
And at the entrance lies this query: ?climb or lay down dead?
All my practice wouldn?t scare me climbing as a child
But it was lacking to prepare me for the mountain wild
Snakes and vultures mountain lions, they all want a piece
And in my head the talk of sirens that refuse to cease
It would be nice to find a lover, bear our own sweet fruit
But how then could I send another on this brutal route
Most my steps are backwards taken, lessons learned too late
And my hunger is forsaken during the debate
I wish that I could retreat safely back into the womb
But though it?s warm and soft and lazy, it is a prison room
