Story Behind The Song
While touring Spain backing up an EMI Latin artist, the band members of Lemon Road spent a lot of time together and got to know one another. As time past everybody talked about how it would be nice to start over, clear your life of the bad things and have a fresh outlook on life. Dany Tomas said he pictured a tornado coming through and wrecking everything and the ground full of rubble. The rubble representing all material things in our lives and how it needed to be cleaned up. That started the concept of The Wind. The music was written right after a concert in Villodolid, Spain.
Song Description
The Wind is a song about starting over. Everyone wants a brand new start and it's the realization that maybe you aren't doing what you're supposed to be doing and you want to get the bad aspects out of your life. The Wind blowing everything away is representing a brand new start.
