Story Behind The Song

I had a lot of heart ache with my first real boyfriend and although the true story isn't reflected in this song, he cheated on me in a different way. I just interpreted the heart ache in a different way and came up with this... The recording isn't so hot, but recording isn't my forte!!!

Song Description

There are two different attitudes in the lyrics i.e. verse one, bridge one and chorus one are all lead by the feeling of love. Verse Bridge and Chorus one is a girl singing about this man who she is madly in love with. It's quite sensual as hinted by the first line of lyrics "Dim the lights", but little does girl number 1 know that the guy she is madly in love with is actually cheating on his longterm partner with her. Hence Verse 2, bridge 2 and chorus 2. This is girl number 2 singing about how she knows that the man she is madly in love with is cheating on her. So obviously, the lyrics in this part of the song are more gloomy. The bit I like about this song is that the two different choruses that the different girls sing actually fit over each other. So at the end - that's exactly what happens - and it creates gorgeous harmonies etc. This song was intended for two vocalists, but I ended up recording both parts myself! lol!
