Story Behind The Song

This song was hard to write. Without a visual picture or backdrop, there was not much to go on. Finally after brainstorming some ideas, two musical themes were created, and music was constructed around.

Song Description

In the bleakest moments of history come the bravest heroes. In "A Hero is Born" we are introduced with a somber melody, but still lingers with hope. As the still-broken musters up the courage, the orchestra begins the first theme of encouragement. Eventually the hero comes forth, only to once again fall into the pits of self-depravity and discouragement (notice the hidden fragments of the themes). But out of this comes a new theme, the "real" heroes theme, as it is finally combined with the first theme and melded into a triumphant victory.
