Story Behind The Song
This song was made up in front of an auditorium full of 6 year olds. My children's theatre group had just finished a storytelling series with puppetry and we wanted to create an activity with the kids. My guitarist, Thom Loubet started playing a bluesy vamp and I stepped up to the mike. The song kinda developed on it's own right then.

Lyrics
(verse I)
Clap your hands
and stomp your feet
and wiggle your hips
in time to the beat
now touch your head
and turn around
and jump 3 times
and rub your belly
(chorus)
rub your belly
rub your belly
rub your belly
shake it like jelly
(verse II)
Do a little dance
and touch your toes
you got ants in your pants
you could wiggle your nose
now touch your head
and turn around
and stomp your feet
now don't make a sound
now shake your head
and touch your knees
and jump 3 times
and rub your belly
(chorus)
(verse III)
now everybody twist
and everybody shout
if you're feelin' kinda silly
you could moo like a cow
now throw your hands up
and shake 'em all around
now jump 3 times
and rub your belly
(chorus)
