Song Description

A very light and touching look at how romance begins to fade away from a relationship, with a positive twist.

Story Behind the Song

I was watching a movie...and the character wanted to know what happened to the romance that once existed during a relationship, so I wrote a song about it.

What Happened To A Little Romance?

Verse #1
Sneaking away in the middle of the day,
Trying to find the right place to say,
"I want you." Oh, yes I do...

Lying awake bathing in the moonlight
Silhouettes dance in ecstasy's flight,
All night long...our love was strong.

Lift #1
Do we know one another too well?
Are we bored with the stories that we tell?

What happened to a little romance?
What happened to our last dance?
What happened to soft kisses?
What happended to, "How I miss yah."?

You used to finish my sentences.
We used to have good intentions.
What happened to second chances?
What happened to a litlle romance?

Tell me what went wrong?....

Verse #2
Answering the phone,
Hearing your voice say, "Hey, Baby."
In that sexy way...most everyday...

Feeling the rush...thinking nice thoughts...
Day dreaming..hands touching hearts,
By feels so right...

Lift #2:
Did we think that forever was too long?
Can you tell me, what went wrong?

Chorus Repeat: 1 x ..."Tell me what went wrong?"

A note left in a special place...
Smiles...blowing kisses in our silly way...
Late night movies falling (to) asleep...
Telling secrets...crossing (our) hearts to keep.

Chorus Repeat: 1 x.."Tell me what went wrong?"

"Tell me what went wrong?" ( x's 3 vamp to the end...fade.)
