Lyrics

The World I Know

Moonlight halos
Angel wings traced in the snow
Riverside silhouettes
East River barges ride low
Old man leans on his cane
Wistfully watch children play
Waiting for one more day
Find one more way

Eighth floor window
Morning light shares its first glow
Sounds of the city
Scenes of a new day below
Young man runs to the train
Chasing his dreams in the rain
Looking for one more day

Carriage bells in the wind
Calling lovers calling others to love again
Love without end
Secret dreams we believe
Hidden somewhere holding to someone
One life to share somewhere out there
In the world I know
In the world I know
In the world I know

Shadows of time granting grace
Moments of peace we embrace
Waiting for one more day
Find one more way
Hold one more day

Has a nice feel and majestic quality. Intricate arrangement.

Very Nice!!!

A rich full sound that carried me away. I really enjoyed the journey that was this piece. Layer upon layer of musical goodness. Dare I say Pink Floyd / Alan Parsons? Splendid work!

This is a fabulous song. Nicely recorded. Superb arrangement. Excellent, soaring recording.

But, all of these aspects don't get in the way of "the song" ..... the concept of "One More Day" has a very subliminal and deeply psychological draw to it that is embedded in our conscious and sub-conscious. So, the song screams to be played over and over because the lyrics are deeply symbolic and engaging. Very strong visual images round out the whole musical world and experience you have created.

The song has a very strong Moody Blues feel to it .... and I am not talking about "filler" Moody Blues, I am talking Moody Blues at their VERY BEST.
This is an inspiring piece.... Thanks for sharing

Nice lush recording. Fine arrangement. Everything works in this song. Simple, memorable hook and story lines. Vocals are spot on. Really nice.

My God what a great sound you have with this song please sing for me any time this should be on the radio right now. I loved every part from vocals to instrumentation, piano and orchestration of this song was more than I have words for.

Yes really well written song.....nice production......good vocal.......

Good vocal pitch quite a unique sound.

Well written,Lyrics paint a detailed and surreal picture, goes well with the mood the music sets.Musicianship is well done also ,nice balance in overall mix.Like the strings,Good job!!

Awesome intro, and the composition is right on the spot, loved it. Got that Pink Floyd feel.

I love this slow listen song, and I forgot everything around me ... so nice

My favorite song and singer today!

Sandy Denny and Jeff Wayne would be proud of this. This sort of (I'm gonna say it) Prog-Folk is luscious. Lyrically this is beautiful and coupled with a delicate performance creates a superb track.

a very nice song, well put together

Love the arrangement of the song. Just a easy laid back song.

Very Lovely song, love the harp? Made me just sway with my eyes closed. Nice! :)

Soothing and relaxing music. Could be used for a theme song in a movie. Very well arranged.

Song and instrumentation is beautiful.

Nice, ethereal tune.

Track has a great uniqueness about it and film appeal. Great.

Very mellow & soothing, nice harmonizing, likeable TV film
