Plays:8
Song DescriptionIn Scripture a woman wanted crumbs from the table of Jesu. I everyday life, there are many who need the church to be gracious, but we are too much a closed society and often quite judgmental.
Story Behind the SongMy last church was a church for the unchurched and I became quite sensitive to how hard it is for the unchurched and dechurched to find a place at the table.

VERSE
I don?t belong at this table,
there?s no place setting for me
It?s not that the folks here treat me unkind
It?s just that they don?t even see
I?m hungry
CHORUS
I?ve been following a trail of the crumbs of a grace
that excites a great hunger in me
All I want is a taste of your bread and your wine
And a kind heart open to me
I?m hungry
VERSE
I need someone who?ll show me the way to the door
And someone who?ll give me a key
I need someone who won?t keep me out any more
And someone who?ll let me be me
VERSE
Won?t you open the door when you?re able
All I?m looking for here?s a fresh start
Won?t you open a seat at your table
And maybe a seat in your heart
CHORUS
I?ve been following a trail of the crumbs of a grace
that excites a great hunger in me
All I want is a taste of your bread and your wine
And a kind heart open to me
BRIDGE
All I need is someone with somewhere to go
Who won?t leave me out in the wind and the snow
Someone with a hand, someone with a light
Someone with a taste of the Life
CHORUS
I?ve been following a trail of the crumbs of a grace
that excites a great hunger in me
All I want is a taste of your bread and your wine
And a kind heart open to me
CHORUS
I?ve been following a trail of the crumbs of a grace
that excites a great hunger in me
All I want is a taste of your bread and your wine
And a kind heart open to me
I?m hungry
Don?t you see me?
Won?t you feed me?
I?m so hungry
