Song Description

after being at the bar all night and it's time to go home, will you take me home with you, and will it last...

Story Behind the Song

sitting at a table watching a band set up, watching the crowd (mostly women) and wondering who would end up with who. then they lowered the lights to play...i wrote the song right then.

Broadjam Member Reviews

Production is good and instrumentation is good. Pretty decent vocal.

    - Nick Flores

I like the 50's rock and roll feel, and the bluesy rhythm gives a mellow, laid back aura to the whole song. The singer has a gritty, enticing voice, which gives an earnest appeal to his message, and can be very seductive to the listener.

Lyrics

When the lights go low and they're playin' slow,
You're telling me it's time to go.
"Come with me, take me home....
No way I'm going to be alone
Tonight"

Let me hold you all night long
Be with you until the morning
Then we'll know if it's meant to be
Are you going to sleep with me...
Tonight....all night

(Chorus)
If you leave with me, will you stay with me
Will you touch my soul and then comfort me
And then catch my tears as we drift away
The perfect ending to a perfect day

Along the way we'll have some fun....
Soon I'll know that you're the one.
It's not just me, you love me, too....
Lying here right next to you...
All night.....tonight

(Chorus)
If you leave with me, will you stay with me
Will you touch my soul and then comfort me
And then catch my tears as we drift away
The perfect ending to a perfect day
