Story Behind The Song
This song was witten about my father in law who passed away many years ago, just after he died my young son at the time put out his hand to hold mine and all the words of the song just poured in to my head, I came home that day and wrote "We need more time"
Song Description
"We need more time" is about the loss of a loved one and how hard it is to overcome that loss, even though we know that time is a supposed healer and that life goes on. Sometimes the eyes of a child can bring all those memories of that person flooding right back to you, and you realise you are going to need much more time to get over this passing.
