Song Description

This is an encouraging, hopeful song to let you know it's going to be alright.

Story Behind the Song

This song was inspired by a friend who was feeling very depressed. I wanted to write something uplifting for him.

Lyrics

Slow Intro:
You deserve so much better than
What you've had, so far
So far, so far

Verse 1:
"You've been hanging your head low", she said
"You've walking a little slow", she said
"I think it's time you hit the road and take
a drive in the sunshine..."

Ooooo

Chorus:
She said,
"You deserve so much better than
What you've had, so far
So far, so far"

Verse 2:
"Leave the luggage and go wander", she said
"Leave the darkness under cover", she said
"Trade it in for blanket of stars,
take a walk in the moonlight..."

Oooooo

Chorus:
She said,
"You deserve so much better than
What you've had, so far
So far, so far"

Bridge:
And she'll await the day
When you can say
It's alright, it's alright
It's alright, it's alright

Chorus:
Because,
"You deserve so much better than
What you've had, so far
So far, so far"

Ending:
So far, so far.
