Breathe You In

Story Behind The Song

As songwriters, we wanted to write something relaxing, but sensual. We also wanted to convey the spiritual as well as physical connection that lovers have.

Lyrics

Breathe You In

The air's still heavy with your quiet voice
It's lingering in all it's softness
Just sitting in this chair
There's nothing I want to do
But breathe you in

We walked the half-grown fields in early June
Our words as tender as the twilight
I reached out trembling
You whispered and asked me then
To breathe you in

And I felt you rush through me
My emptiness faded away
Let me breathe you in

You left me with a kiss--it's not enough
You left me wanting for tomorrow
A part of me is gone
And I can hardly wait
To breathe you in

I'll breathe you in
