Story Behind The Song

I was on the plane to Los Angeles with my songbook, and I thought of the unlikely scenario of someone stealing the musician's music box and what they would do if that happened.

Song Description

A man is playing guitar at a show and someone steals his guitar. He seeks to find his most prized possession and in a turn of events he eventually retains it.

V1: Well it started out just a normal night in Nashville
I?d just got done to a crowd of screaming fans
I walked up to the owner for my cash bill
But when I came back, I couldn?t find my band
