Song Description

One song of a cycle of five for Barack Obama to be elected President in 2008. He deserves a song in this great American genre, with its African-American roots.

Story Behind the Song

Rock 'n' Roll is great music and has been a major part of my pianist-vocalist career, but I've not written many pure Rock 'n' Roll songs. Here's one for you!

Lyrics

ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo,
ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo,
'Cos Barack is the man, oh yes we can,
ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo.

ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo,
Everything is down to me and you.
Get out on the trail and on the range,
Working for man who will bring us change.
From East to West he will be the best, that's true!
ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo.

ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo,
ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo,
'Cos Barack is the man, oh yes we can,
ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo.

ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo,
My little brother told me what to do -
'Cos now is the time to rearrange,
Working for man who will bring us change.
From East to West he will be the best, that's true!
ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo.

ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo,
ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo,
'Cos Barack is the man, oh yes we can,
ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo.

ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo,
My little sister told me what to do -
Get out of your bed - that ain't so strange,
Working for man who'll give us change.
From East to West he will be the best, that's true!
ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo.

ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo,
ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo,
'Cos Barack is the man, oh yes we can,
ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo.

ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo,
ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo,
'Cos Barack is the man, oh yes we can,
ObamaRamaLamaLammaLoo.
