Great old time stride piano piece with modern stack sound in the piano

You've got it down! Nice to hear this style not neccesarily played by a carousel. I always wondered."what the heck kind of music is that? It does not synchronize exactly with the rise and fall of the horses." How surreal it is, but we accept it as normal when youre very young. And why not? Sounds like maybe something from the turn of the last century played on the "boardwalk". Original phrasing somewhat still acceptable to the listener as being normal, but yet is sometimes irregular in length or is interupted at a somewhat unconventional time. A wonderful type ragtime songs with a slite twist here or there. Its perfectly good however as the feel is universal and the composer dictates their own rules. The chords are very much in keeping with a standard ragtime progression broken up with some rhythmical statements to accent the style more. I like the feel a lot and hope there is more of this type comming because its style is uniquely fun to hear and "bounce" to ! In spite of what the stiff horses may do. VERY GOOD, chord progressions seem very smooth and orthodox to sloghtly out of tune upright piano too! Pianos were the standard universal instrument and every home almost had one. The Rhytmn was pronounced with heavy chord striking to get the feel of pulsating with the sound! The "Gay Nineties" (happy) are back again! 1890's. Up to the 1930's even.

So, yeah, bartender, whatch ya got that's hot? My wife's done a left me and I need to git schnockrd. Heh. ... OK, that's what entered my mind while listening to this pianist playing an old-style piano in a saloon some time ago perhaps. Perfect music for old-time, and I mean old-time country western movie clips or possible scenes depicting puppets or vaudeville type messages.

Definitely feel like I just walked into a saloon, well either that or I'm watching a silent movie. This certainly has potential to be used in TV. The arrangement is simple but effective at what it does -- which is to give life to a film or TV show scene. In this case I think you've done well and I hope to hear more from you in the future.
