Still My Little Girl

Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song when a friend of mine's daughter graduated high school. I just started thinking of how proud a parent would be of a child that had made it in this world for eighteen years and remained loving and warm.

Lyrics

?Still My Little Girl?
Music and lyrics by Joey Stuckey

Verse 1
Where did yesterday go?
My precious baby girl
Seems like not too long
Since you arrived to bless my world.

Chorus
Now you?ve grown into a woman
One I?m proud to say I know
But no matter how old you are
You?re still my little girl.

Verse 2
Seems like yesterday
Was your first step, was your first tooth
But before too long
You will graduate high school

Repeat Chorus

Bridge
No matter where you are
No matter what you do
There will be a place in my heart
That just belongs to you
Only to you

Repeat Chorus
