Story Behind The Song

This song was written to express the deepest feelings we have for each other. It specifically describes the a love once felt and seemingly lost over time. But because the love was so strong in the beginning it remains the same despite the vicissitudes of time and life. For me it was the return of someone very dear to me after a long period of absence. My personal feelings and elation is herein described.

Song Description

THE TOUCH THE TASTE OF TIME is a song that expresses the deepest part of our lives as we live in this world. It seems that in loving someone deeply time itself brings that love to a stop because we all meet death someday and the passing of time only brings that realization to mind. But in the truest understanding of the meaning of life, death is only a door. And those who share in the life of Our Blessed Lord's eternal life find that true love; the love of God, love of self and love for others is the key to embracing eternal love. The deep, personal, indescribable love that each of us carries in our heart; the one that we freely give to another or others for a lifetime mirrors the love that God has for each of us. And this is made manifest in and by the love of Christ. Only this mirrored eternal love unlocks the mystery of life and in the end is way beyond, far beyond death and the touch and taste of time.
