Story Behind The Song
I wanted to write a song that featured my bass in a descending chord pattern much like The Beatles.

																	Song Description
The song is actually about newly purchased Rickenbacker bass. I'm telling it to play right and get in line with the others (basses). I left the ambiguity in the lyrics so the listener can make up their own mind as to the plot line when actually it is all about the bass line.

																Lyrics

You know your price tag was a little bit high
I know that you were prized by some well-known guy
but all your rivals are very close by
Will you give it one last try tonight?
You're very loud you've got to bring it way down
I'm not a player that gets paid by the pound
You know the rules you know the way it should sound
Will you give it one last try tonight?
At a party you're having a blast
You have your lines but you play them too fast
You have the looks and killer appeal
I need a different feel
I have your papers I can send you right back
I know the others want to play on my track
but something tells me you'll be fine in my pack
Give it one last try tonight
Won't you give it one last try tonight?
Won't you give it one last try tonight?
