Story Behind The Song
So I thought I'd write a Brian Wilson / Beach Boys kind of song... of course after I got going on it, I thought it doesn't sound anything like them! :)
It was a bit more like a John Lennon song to me...
The lyric was about everything going on in 2020 with the pandemic and everybody being so isolated with masks and social distancing. Then the riots due to our countries historical racial injustice, and people marching to change that, while others just tried to destroy property.
Add to that, the leadership with the pandemic and these issues divided the country. 2020 ended up a mess!
The song is about being positive, making positive changes for all people, getting though the pandemic and all being back together again. Hopeful thoughts...
