A girl I dated a few years back cheated on me ruthlessly, taking for granted that I always forgave her. After the 3rd time, I was sick of it, and let her go. She then realized what she had been doing and she wasn't going to find anyone else like me, so she started calling again, but to no avail.

A guy finally realizes, after three episodes, that his girlfriend has cheated on him enough. He decides to leave her, and toward the end of the song, she realizes that she's been taking him for granted, yet he denies her the ability to resume their previous relationship.
