Story Behind The Song
Pop-folk song about growing up with friends. Positive nostalgia.
Song Description
"Pack of Dogs" harks back to the restrained but elegant, whimsical but earnest themes of "Wildflowers" by Tom Petty. This song was inspired by the Iron & Wine song lyric, "...good dogs together go wild" from his song "Rabbit Will Run".

Lyrics
Pack Of Dogs
Piled in my Honda, four wide in back,
megaphone out the window pullin' over cars.
I know it can be fun running 'round with the pack
We were a pack of dogs running 'round and wild.
Shakin' like junkies, adrenalin in our hands,
naked down the backstretch at the football game.
I know it can be fun running 'round with the pack
We were a pack of dogs running 'round and wild.
Then we all grew up and went our own ways.
Yes we all grew up together.
I know it can be fun running 'round with the pack
We were a pack of dogs running 'round and wild.
