This is atmospheric, quirky stuff! Looking at this from a 'pop' point of view (which is the category I found it in), the unconventional song structure and inventive musical riffs and ideas are perhaps too unconventional - though I appreciate the song may fall between categories. In any case, the execution is excellent, the vocal works well and the mix/production adds to the vibe of the song.

Really cool texture of the elec and ac guitars early on. Felt fresh. Hypnotic, interesting song.

I heard the original version of this tune and immediately put it on my playlist. Loved it, and think this is even better. If I remember right, the heavier guitar sound came in about 1/3 of the way through. Now it starts at the beginning. Great vocal attitude and slightly quirky vibe that sets this apart from the mass of songs. Like the theme which seems very personal for the singer, but listeners can relate, at least I know I can - and it's sort of inspirational in that way, and a positive force which isn't easy to come by. A great improvement to a great song.

This is a very unique Rock song; Beatlesque in nature from my standpoint. Lots of cool effects make this a neat listening experience. The one key arrangement is unusual in itself, and is a fine choice here.
