Long ago our native land was filled with mystery
Along the shore upon the sand it was a sight to see
To only those who told no one a creature made it's
presence known
Chieftains bowed their heads in awe and called it
Ogopogo

For many years the serpent came and filled the land with wonder
Until one day they spoke it's name and the creature went back under
I don't know just what I saw, it was big and it was scary
