Story Behind The Song

My wife had been through a lot in our first year of marriage. What many would go through over say a five year period, we went through in a matter of months due to our own circumstances. And through it all we've stuck by each other, whilst so many couples in our shoes would have caved, cheated, or simply gone their separate ways. I wanted to write a song that acknowledged our devotion to each other, whilst making a statement about how often and easily so many of us take love for granted as a game, like a get rich quick scheme for the heart. Those always end in disappointment and heartache. But if you have real love, like my wife and I, then you stick with it, even times are rough . . . it's never easy,but . . .

Song Description

My latest production features a mid-tempo dance/hiphop beat and an overall late 80s early 90s Pop arrangement with guitar work akin to Coldplay, vocals stylings reminiscent of Toad the Wet Sprocket meets Duran Duran
