Song Description

A disconcerting drum and bass track with vocals in the style of Tom Waits. Low, raspy vocals sing from the point of view of a stalker while he fantasizes about his prey. Nothing explicit or vulgar, just creepy and twisted.

Story Behind the Song

Had an instrumental riff that hit me as having only one real direction. Thought a creepy song with a Tom Waits feel would be appropriate.

I wait for you to leave your door/and I follow you down the street/I'm tracing your every step with mine/oh I watch you.

While the streetlight masks your epic glow/I sit and watch from the shadows/the way you move it haunts me so/in my mind I feel you out.

With my dirty thoughts/with my dirty thoughts/with my dirty thoughts.

I imagine the way your lips move/as you slowly speak my name/I chase you down and pin you up/I'm a collector on my game.

The way I want you leaves me feeling/like I've gone insane/oh I'll tear you up and pull you down/from the shadows.

With my dirty thoughts/with my dirty thoughts/with my dirty thoughts.
