Story Behind The Song

We approached this remix as we would any other, in that we stripped it down to a bare vocal, and began adding elements. Layered atmospheric effects and filtered drum sounds gave it an ethereal quality. This worked together with the driving bassline and dense guitars to create an energetic and uplifting pop sound.

Song Description

This remix was commissioned by Maverick Records to broaden the appeal of the single "Breathe", and to give it more of a crossover-friendly sound. It was not officially released.
