Story Behind The Song

This track is dedicated to Reggie Crumpler, Steven Cruz and Joe Jeter. Three good friends of mine that I've lost over the years one to cancer, another to a motorcycle accident while trying tricks, and another to a heart attack after refusing a pacemaker. Two were middle and high schools buddies and Joe was a great man I met on the Job back when I was doing oil changes for a living.

I don't encourage anyone to live each day like it's your last,
Cruz lost control and lost it all in a crash,
I just try to live each day better than ones past,
So I'ma take it day by day I'm not living too fast,
